Back to School

It's that time of year again and we a re so excited for BACK TO SCHOOL!!! Everyone is off to a great start. Ashley has skipped 7th grade math and been placed into an 8th grade class. Brady is already Mr. Popular and Tyler is adjusting well.

Our big focus this year, especially with Brady, is being mature. He has had the hardest time over the years in school with the situation at home and has acted out. I'm thinking this year we will see a change. Pray for us that we do. 

Ashley is in pre-teen FULL swing. Up and down like the seconds of a clock. I swear she's giving us whiplash!

Other than that, all is well. Here's to another great year!!

We are Funky Fisch

We like to do all sorts of things together. And sometimes we get funky. Like last night, for instance, we played lights out hide and seek. It was a LOT of fun. Ash came up with the idea for a family home evening. Tonight we sit here wondering what to do, any suggestions??

So I have discovered that keeping up with 2 blogs is a little tricky. This is obvious by the fact that we haven't posted since Christmas and now it's July. So I have decided that I will try to blog something once a week. Big or small, funny or not, I will post something! So here is to Sunday blogging; CHEERS!

It's been a while since we have posted on our family blog. A lot has been happening. Ashley and Brady both got glasses. Tyler has almost finished his Bear in Cubscouts and in 31 days Brady will be baptized! Ashley is doing great in school and has a winter concert coming up where she will be debuting her flute skills. October 2010

We had a blast this October with fall and fun. The kids enjoyed a Halloween party with good friends and we had a BLAST trick-or-treating! We all dressed up for Halloween, Ashley was a dead bride, tyler was a gladiator, and Brady was Luigi. Austin was my Knight in Shinning Armor and I was his Maid. It was a lot of fun.

Things, they are a changin'

Well, a lot of things are changing in the Fischer house hold. A few new things:

Ashley got glasses
Tyler is on the student council at school
Brady is well, Brady. Everything is new to him, he loves each and every day.

The BIG news is Allison got a job. She'll be working full time! That means... Austin stays at home!

We decided to take the kids Cosmic Bowling for the Labor Day weekend. So we packed up, grabbed a friend of Ashley's and headed out. We had a BLAST and the kids REALLY enjoyed all the glowing and whatnot. They all made sure to wear clothes that would glow for them to see. All in all it was a good time.
