It's been a while since we have posted on our family blog. A lot has been happening. Ashley and Brady both got glasses. Tyler has almost finished his Bear in Cubscouts and in 31 days Brady will be baptized! Ashley is doing great in school and has a winter concert coming up where she will be debuting her flute skills. October 2010

We had a blast this October with fall and fun. The kids enjoyed a Halloween party with good friends and we had a BLAST trick-or-treating! We all dressed up for Halloween, Ashley was a dead bride, tyler was a gladiator, and Brady was Luigi. Austin was my Knight in Shinning Armor and I was his Maid. It was a lot of fun.

Things, they are a changin'

Well, a lot of things are changing in the Fischer house hold. A few new things:

Ashley got glasses
Tyler is on the student council at school
Brady is well, Brady. Everything is new to him, he loves each and every day.

The BIG news is Allison got a job. She'll be working full time! That means... Austin stays at home!

Big news for us all.

We decided to take the kids Cosmic Bowling for the Labor Day weekend. So we packed up, grabbed a friend of Ashley's and headed out. We had a BLAST and the kids REALLY enjoyed all the glowing and whatnot. They all made sure to wear clothes that would glow for them to see. All in all it was a good time.

The first day of School 2010/2011

It’s that time of year again: Back to School. We got up early and had cinnamon rolls as a 1^st day of school treat. Then we headed off. Ashley to Middle school and The boys to  4^th and 2^nd grade. All in all it was a good morning…now to see how the day went this afternoon.

father's blessing and first day of school

Father’s blessings were given tonight to help start the new school year. Nothing is more precious than watching a father and child engage in something so spiritual. We are so lucky that Austin is worthy and able to hold the Priesthood in home and in our lives.

The kids are all ready to go back to school. Bookbags and paper, pencils and binders, all ready to go. Nerves are a little shaky, and bellies have some butterflies, but all in all things are good.

Mt. Charleston here we come!

A camping we will go, a camping we will go, Oh no what are we thinking a camping we will go!

We decided that since it’s the last week before school starts we’ll take an overnighter to Mt. Charleston. Tyler and Ashley both have badges to cross off so this is going to take care of it. We have a busy week filled for us.

Monday: we have an orthodontist appointment for Ash. Then we head up to the mountain.

Tuesday: we spend the day at Mt. Charleston to come home to 3 different meetings at church (all at 7!!!). Man is that gonna be tricky.

Wednesday: we have the baby (I sit for a friend) all day and cleaning up from the mountain. Then it’s back to Kelli’s for the kids and getting ready for school to start. Happy Summer!!

Welcome to our CRAZY life! We’re a family of 5, 2 girls and 3 boys.

Dad is Austin, he’s manly and strong!

Mom- Allison, well, she’s actually a step-mom, but we think she’s a keeper!

Ashley is all attitude and loves it!

Tyler is the middle one, but that makes him so much fun!

Brady is, well, Brady. To know him is to love him!

And last, but not least is Lola, our funny  mutt.
